This little 2-speed is built to tackle the school size tunas that want to fight straight down like their big brothers. It’s two speed ratios gives you all the power to pick line up on a suicide run at the boat with the 6:1 high ratio or stop them dead in their tracks on a blistering first run down in the 3:1 low gear.
The New B2-197 has all the features of the big reels that include 6061 T-6 aircraft grade aluminum construction, Accurate’s patented TwinDrag™ System for a smooth powerful drag, Accucast™ Cast Control System for better accuracy and less backlashes, and Heat Treated Stainless Steel gears for the ultimate cranking power.
Other key features include 2 Stainless Steel anti-reverse bearings, heat treated pinion gears, unhindered free spool, and 7 ABEC rated stainless steel bearings sealed with Teflon® impregnation for added corrosion resistance.
